Chi Mountain (in simplified Chinese 旗山) is located at the south bank of Minjiang River. Chi Mountain is also known as Tsui Chishan. In Putonghua, “Chi” means “Flag”. Yes, you might have already understood that, Flag Mountain is called Flag Mountain because it looks like a flag when you watch it from a distance. In fact, next to this Flag Mountain, there is the Drum Mountain, and in Chinese, flag and drum are two essential components of a war. Thus, these two mountains give a very great feeling to people visiting them.
In this mountain, there are, of course, a lot of beautiful sceneries. However, there are other things that you could try to visit. It is the temple located on this mountain. This temple has a long, long history. The most ancient time it existed on this mountain could be traced back to the Song Dynasty. In this temple, there were a lot of people visiting and worshiping. At the southern part of the mountain, there were a lot of special beautiful stones. There, you could see a lot of good views of the mountain and you would be able to enjoy the scenery very much. In fact, Chi Mountain is not a very raw mountain. Instead, the transportation of the mountain was quite good, and a lot of roads are developed to allow you reach the top of the mountain.
